Creating a BreedBase User Account
If you plan to use Field Book in conjunction with a BreedBase instance (StrawberryBase, LettuceBase, etc.), you will first need to create a BreedBase account.
Note: These are temporary instructions. A more streamlined process is in development.
Go to your desired BreedBase instance:
TrainingBase: If you are going to practice using BreedBase on your own
A species-specific instance: Choose from this list at if you are creating a user account for an instance of BreedBase that has been created specifically for your breeding program.
Select ‘Login’.
Select ‘New user’.
Enter your details.
Notify your program’s Breeding Insight coordinator that you have created a BreedBase account.
Your coordinator will authenticate the account and notify you.
After your coordinator confirms that your account has been authenticated, return to the BreedBase URL you visited in Step 1.
Login using your credentials.
