Navigation

You can use these commands to change and query the current position in the trial.

“Where am I?”

Trial unit, trait, and value of the selected cell are read out.

“Single trait”

When switching cells, the next cell within the same trait is selected (column-wise progress).

“All traits”

When switching cells, the next cell within the same trail unit is selected (row-wise progress).

“Automatic progress on / off”

After entering a value, the next cell is automatically selected. If automatic progress is deactivated, the user has to say “Next” to switch to the next cell.

“Skipping cells on / off”

Cells already containing data are skipped. If skipping cells is deactivated, cells already containing data can be selected and the new value overwrites the old value.

“Next / previous”

The next / previous cell is selected.

“<Trial unit>”

Trial units can be selected by the combination of hierarchy level name and number. If the command does not include all hierarchy levels, the next matching trial unit is selected.

For example:

“Parcel 5, Plant 16”

“Parcel 5”

“<Trait>”

The name of the trait or, if specified, its alternative can be used to directly select the respective trait for the current trial unit.

For example:

“Phytotoxicity”

“Phyto”

“<Trial unit> <Trait>”

Combining trial unit and trait in one command can be used to select a cell directly.

For example:

“Parcel 5, Plant 16, Phytotoxicity”

“Next / previous trial unit”

Go to the next / previous trial unit.
